Collard Green Soup

Ingredients:
1 large slice cooking ham, cubed
1 pound pork sausage, sliced
2 chorizo sausages, sliced
2 cans great northern beans
4 to 5 medium potatoes, cubed
1 package frozen collard greens
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
Cooking Instructions:
In a large stock pot, saute onions and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add ham and sausages and cook until done. Add potatoes and collard greens and cover all ingredients with water. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for ten minutes. Add beans and seasonings then cover and reduce to simmer. Cook until potatoes are done and soup has the desired thickness.
