Stuffed Green Peppers

Ingredients:
4 green peppers
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 cup uncooked rice
1 can potatoes
1 can tomatoes
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
olive oil
Velveeta cheese
salt and pepper
oregano
garlic powder
onion salt
paprika
basil
chili powder
Cooking Instructions:
Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add ground beef and seasonings and brown beef. Add tomatoes and simmer on low heat. Carefully cut off the tops of the green peppers and boil green peppers and tops for about 5 to 10 minutes but not until peppers are too soft. Cook rice as instructed on package. Mix rice with beef mixture and stuff into peppers. Top peppers with a slice of cheese and then put tops back on peppers. Place peppers in a baking dish and place remaining beef mixture around the peppers. Place baking dish in another pan of water and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
