Ingredients:
2 c soft butter
1/2 c sifted confectioners' sugar
1 t vanilla
2 1/4 c sifted flour
1/4 t salt
3/4 c finely chopped nuts

Cooking Instructions:
Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour and salt and stir into butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet (cookies do not spread). Bake (about 400 degrees, in a moderate hot oven) until set (10 to 12 minutes), but not brown. While still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
Serving Suggestions:
Yields about 4 dozen 1 inch cookies.
