Daddy's Maple Walnut Fudge

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 stick of butter, softened
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon maple extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
Cooking Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, mix together sugar, milk and butter.

3. Stir mixture constantly on medium high heat until mixture becomes bubbly and forms into a soft ball when dropped into cold water.

4. Remove from heat and let sit to thicken.

5. Add maple extract, marshmallows and chopped nuts to thickened fudge.

6. Beat mixture by hand until thick.

7. Spread fudge onto a buttered plate to cool.

8. Once fudge has cooled, cut into pieces and serve.

Better get out that wooden spoon and have a little energy when you start this recipe :) You can place the fudge in the refrigerator to cool faster if you like.
